To provide laptops to 3,200 K-5 students in order to increase digital access as part of a large-scale community initiative focused on student achievement
This grant will provide One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) laptops to all 3,200 K-5 students in seven schools in the LIFT zone. These laptops were chosen, rather than tablets or traditional laptops, because they are designed especially for children and run on Linux and open-source software. They are durable, and easy to repair.
