Térèse Coudreaut Curiel
Térèse Coudreaut Curiel joined the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation as director of human resources in January 2011 and was promoted to VP/Human Resources and Administration in December 2012.
Coudreaut directs all human resource activities to advance Knight Foundation's high-performance culture. This includes recruiting and selection, talent management and development, compensation and benefits, succession planning and transitions.
Coudreaut previously worked for Knight Foundation as manager of workforce performance and development, where she created a metrics-based approach to determining success. Most recently, Coudreaut led a global consulting practice at Alexander Proudfoot Co. that helped companies adapt to large-scale operational change. Previously, Coudreaut worked with a Marsh & McLennan subsidiary, where she developed a project management office that helped drive over 200 worldwide projects to on-time and on-budget delivery.
A graduate of the State University of New York with a bachelor’s in marketing communications, Coudreaut earned a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Columbia University.
