Head to the Gables Tuesday, April 9 as Knight Foundation’s VP/Arts Dennis Scholl and Miami-Dade County’s director of cultural affairs Michael Spring discuss “how to keep the arts viable in tough times.” Carol Damian, director of the Frost Museum at FIU, will moderate the discussion promising topics like: What are some of the best strategies for supporting and sustaining the arts in the current economy? How do we ensure that the arts are a viable enterprise for artists and audiences of today and as well as for the future?
