    On Monday, Knight Foundation announced the five finalists in the Knight/NEA Community Arts Journalism Challenge, a program founded this summer to find new ways to use technology to inform and engage people in the arts.  The five finalist projects emerged from 233 applications submitted from eight pilot communities where Knight Foundation currently invests.
