Tpt’s Rewire seeks video submissions for a third season of “Are You MN Enough?”

Twin Cities Public Television’s Rewire (a Knight Arts grantee) is bringing back its charming YouTube video series this fall. “Are you MN Enough” is in the midst of a call for entries, in fact. They’re seeking original shorts “on a quintessentially Minnesota topic,” two to six minutes in length, from Twin Cities video-makers (amateurs and professionals, individuals and production teams are all welcome to submit).

They’ve run two seasons already, featuring videos on Minnesotans’ love of food on a stick and hotdish, our obsession with weather and state rivalriesScandinavian stereotypes and “Minnesota nice.” For this new batch of entries, Rewire asks, “What other unique aspects of life in Minnesota does the greater internet need to know about? What cliché would you like to overturn or prove true?”

Rewire’s “Are You MN Enough?” YouTube series will take entries from August 12 to September 12 for a third season of web shorts.

Video submissions will be accepted through September 12, after which they’ll be narrowed down to a pool of six finalists by the Rewire team on the basis “their originality, production quality, and caliber of content.” The finalist videos will then be put up for public vote on the Rewire website from September 18 to 30. On October 8, the winning video submission will be awarded $2,000; second and third place vote-getters will receive awards of $1,000 and $500 respectively.
