Informed & Engaged Ep. 8: Women of color in the White House press corps

EPISODE 8: EQUITY AND ACCESS: WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A WOMAN OF COLOR IN THE WHITE HOUSE PRESS CORPS

For years, the White House press corps has been the public’s way to help hold our powerful officials accountable, up to and including the President — and as our country changes, it’s important that the corps reflects the diversity of our nation in an equitable and inclusive way. On Episode 8 of Informed & Engaged, we’ll talk with Weijia Jiang, CBS News White House correspondent, Rachel Scott, White House Correspondent and D.C. Correspondent reporting across all ABC News programs and platforms, and Yamiche Alcindor, White House correspondent for the PBS NewsHour. Together, we’ll talk about equity in the corps and its integral role in strengthening our communities and and shaping our democracy.
