Human Resources Intern – Remote

The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation is seeking applicants for a paid internship opportunity.

The selected intern will spend 10 weeks (starting June 7) working remotely. The intern will be compensated at $18 per hour.

Description:

The intern will help drive the current vendor diversity data collection and analysis work while also contributing to the development of a portal and process for the ongoing work. Additionally, will research vendor demographics, following up with vendors on their survey responses, analyzing the data, reporting the findings and assisting in the development of a portal for knowledge management. This work will result in the creation of a process and system for tracking vendor diversity which is a  key initiative for Knight Foundation. The intern’s work will contribute to the creation of  the platform we’ll use for our 2021 and 2022 work and will likely inform our approach for continuous improvement in 2023.

Requirements:

  • Research and data analysis skills
  • An interest in diversity, equity and inclusion is a plus
  • Graduate student
