June 19: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
June 20: 7:00 – 9:00 a.m.
The Knight Public Spaces Forum will take place at two primary venues. On June 19, the venue will be the Center for Architecture and Design (1218 Arch St.). On June 20 and June 21, the venue will be the Loews Philadelphia (1200 Market Street.)
The Center for Architecture and Design is a short, 5-minute walk from the Loews Philadelphia. Walking maps will be available at registration.
At registration, you will receive your name badge. Name badges are required for admittance to all forum functions, including the sessions, meals, and receptions, so please be sure to wear them at all times.

The Unconference will take place on June 20 from 3:15 – 4:15 p.m. This is your opportunity to design the forum. Unconference sessions are informal, small group discussions designed to explore a topic or project of interest to attendees. Please note that there will be no audio/visual support for these sessions and you are responsible providing any handout materials. To reserve a table for your session, simply propose your topic during registration.

Check-in at the Loews begins at 4 p.m. and check out is at 11:00 a.m. If your room is not ready when you check in, please check your bags at the bell desk.
On June 21, please plan to check-out before breakfast or during the 10 a.m. break and bring your bags to the luggage staging area on the second floor. A bellman will be on duty to receive, tag and store your luggage until the conclusion of our meetings.
Getting to the Loews Philadelphia
SEPTA provides train service between Center City and the Airport on the Airport Regional Rail Line. Trains run every 30 minutes and operate from 4:52 am to 11:52 pm (Center City to Airport) and from 5:07 am to 12:30 am (Airport to Center City). SEPTA service is also available from the 30th Street Amtrak Station. The Loews Philadelphia is located near the Jefferson Street Station. Plan your trip here.
During the Knight Public Spaces Forum, the following meals will be provided:
June 19— light snack at the Center for Architecture and Design; reception fare at the hotel
June 20—breakfast and lunch at the hotel; reception fare at Cherry St. Pier
June 21—breakfast; boxed lunch at the hotel
All dietary restrictions are being accommodated. Water stations will be available throughout the event.
The dress code is business casual. Meeting room temperatures may vary, so consider wearing layered clothing to ensure your personal comfort. For the June 19 community explorations, please wear comfortable shoes as all of the tours involve some amount of walking.
The nearest 24-hour pharmacy is Walgreens (1 S. Broad Street.). The nearest urgent care facility is Vybe Urgent Care (1420 Chestnut St.).

Photography, audio, and video recordings will be taken at this event.
