Call for entries for The Light Factory’s Annuale

Laura Williams, 2013 Annuale Winner.

The Light Factory’s 7th annual juried show is fast approaching. A call for entries recently went out for innovative and challenging works from photographers across the country. The Annuale will be on display in April and will consist of six photographers, each represented by five to seven images.

Photographers are invited to submit both traditional and non-traditional approaches to photographic imaging. Entrants must submit five to seven images from a specific series or body of work. Entries will be judged by Dennis Kiel, past chief curator at The Light Factory and current director of the Dishman Art Museum in Texas. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place.

The entry fee is $30, and once this is paid, applicants will receive an email explaining submission instructions. The deadline for all materials including the entry fee, form and images is March 6th. Winners will be notified by March 20th, and those works selected for the show must be delivered to The Light Factory by April 10th.
