Ashley Simon joined Knight Foundation in January 2025 as Director of Marketing and Creative. She brings extensive experience in brand strategy, customer insights, product positioning, and integrated marketing campaigns across the technology and media industries.
Prior to Knight, Ashley led marketing at Early Works, where she shaped brand and growth strategies for a portfolio of AI-driven companies. She has held senior marketing roles at major brands including Airbnb, MTV, and Medium, developing go-to-market strategies, content marketing initiatives, and strategic partnerships to drive business growth.
An entrepreneur at heart, Ashley co-founded Curious Elixirs, a pioneering non-alcoholic cocktail brand that grew into a $50 million business in under five years. She also spearheaded the “My Body Does” campaign, which gained national recognition in outlets such as Mic, People, and MTV News.
Originally from Michigan, Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Thought & Analysis from Washington University in St. Louis. After two decades in New York, she now resides in Miami with her family.
