Gean Moreno will create the first nonprofit publishing house for South Florida-based art books. A writer and curator, Moreno’s organization will produce and distribute its own collection of titles and work with local institutions to produce high quality catalogues and thematic volumes. The publications will archive South Florida’s cultural happenings, leaving a legacy for future generations. Also, the work of local artists will be exposed to a larger audience.
