We received a number of duplicate applications in the Knight News Challenge database. If you received a declination e-mail today or yesterday and you had already been invited to submit a full proposal, please disregard the latest notification. It was not related to the application for which you were invited to submit a full proposal, but to a duplicate application you had in the Knight News Challenge database or an application that you saved but never submitted. We needed to clean up the database and the only way of doing that is by declining any duplicates we have in there. If you were invited to submit a full proposal, the deadline is this Monday.
