Knight Foundation supports a variety of events as part of our ongoing efforts to spark new ideas for cities and support civic innovators working to advance talent, opportunity and engagement in San Jose, Calif.
Here is the first installment of a new monthly series of local events and opportunities aimed at moving San Jose forward.
- April 10 – May 3: The Tabard Theatre Company at Theatre on San Pedro Square concludes its 2014-2015 season with the Tony-nominated and Drama Critics’ Circle Award-winning musical, “Violet.”
- April 14: Breakfast and office hours with Knight from 9-10 a.m. Come hear about our strategy, share your ideas and receive feedback. Limited seats available. RSVP to Mark Haney at [email protected].
- April 16: The San Jose Downtown Association presents HERCity “Under City Lights.” HERCity opens doors to downtown’s unique spaces, hotspots and more making it the premier networking event for women in downtown San Jose.
- April 25: Movimiento de Arte y Cultura Latino Americana presents Sabado Del Arte/Family Art Day designed for parents and children to engage with the arts.
- April 27: TransForm is hosting California Transportation Choices Summit 2015: A Year of Action in Sacramento.
