Knight Foundation is seeking an experienced staff accountant to join the Finance team reporting to the controller.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monthly, quarterly and annual analysis and reconciliation of key investment and banking accounts;
• Accounting for the investment portfolio;
• Audit support;
• Year-end accruals;
• Maintenance of records of assets, liabilities, and profit and loss;
• Preparation of financial reports for management;
• Generation and interpretation of financial records and statements;
• Processing payments to third parties and related activities.

The right candidate will have excellent time management and good written and oral communication skills, and proven professional judgment. They will have demonstrated experience as a staff accountant and, preferably, hold a bachelor’s or associate’s degree in accounting.
