“The digital revolution is just getting going,” says Reed Hundt, former chairman of the FCC under President Bill Clinton. “Those of us who were privileged to be involved in the early days of the Internet… thought it would be a global common medium,” he says. They knew it would reach across state lines and foster freedom, and it has succeeded beyond anyone’s wildest dreams.
Hundt participated in discussions on digital governance at the 2011 Aspen Institute Forum on Communications and Society (FOCAS). Knight Foundation’s Dennis Scholl interviewed him there.
