Alex Shannon joined Knight Foundation’s 2015 Internship program in May. He works with Kyle Kutuchief, the Akron program director.

Shannon, an Akron native, will graduate in December 2015 from The University of Akron with an accounting degree. He plans to pursue a career in business development upon graduation.

Outside of academics, Shannon is involved with Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and is responsible for starting a golf club at the university. He has served numerous leadership positions in organizations such as Order of Omega Honorary Society, The Institute for Leadership Advancement and The University of Akron’s Honor College.
