Catie Schwartzman joined Knight Foundation’s internship program in June 2019. She works with Lauren Dickinson, communications officer. 

Schwartzman is a student at the University of Florida, where she is studying journalism and digital arts and sciences with a minor in Spanish. 

Prior to joining Knight, Schwartzman worked as a senior instructor at the Miami Seaquarium. She also worked with the Locust Projects, a Miami nonprofit exhibition space, where she put up a collaborative visual art exhibition in Miami’s Design District through the Locust Art Builders program.

Schwartzman will help create communications resources for Knight’s internal and external audiences.
