Julia Donheiser joined Knight Foundation’s 2016 summer internship program in May. She works with the journalism program.

Donheiser is a rising sophomore pursuing degrees in statistics and computer science with a certificate in policy media and journalism studies at Duke University, where she works in the Duke Reporters’ Lab as a student researcher.

Donheiser runs Munch’d, a blog dedicated to discussing food and sustainability, in her spare time. She hopes to open a farm-to-table restaurant after pursuing a career in journalism.
