Lynn Cherny is the Visiting Knight Chair in Cross-Cultural Communication at University of Miami.

Grant Background

The visiting chair will serve a term of no more than one year, with possible one-time renewal. The chair’s program of teaching and service will focus on high-impact journalism and public engagement. This focus applies whether the journalism projects are part of the Center for Communication, Culture and Change (working title for the former Knight Center for International Media), as well as any joint projects that would be done with the Knight Chair in Visual Journalism, or as standalone projects.
