Mai Vang joined Knight Foundation’s 2014 summer internship program in June. She worked with St. Paul Program Director Polly Talen.

Vang recently graduated from Augsburg College in Minneapolis with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology. While attending Augsburg, Vang pursued her interests in community engagement, the arts and transit through an internship with Works Progress, an artist-led public art and design studio.

While in college, Vang also worked with the Asian Economic Development Association creating relationships and opportunities with small businesses that may have been affected by rail construction of the new Green Line, which opens in June.
