Riley Tinlin joined the Knight Foundation in 2025 and serves as the Administrative Coordinator for the Investments Team. 

Riley comes to Knight with an interdisciplinary background spanning research in higher education, communications and administrative support. She brings a solutions-driven and detail-oriented approach to supporting efficient workflows and cross-functional collaboration.

Prior to joining Knight, she earned a Master’s in Communication, Culture & Technology from Georgetown University, where she focused on the intersection of socio-cultural systems, communication strategy and technology. She holds a B.A. in Critical Media & Cultural Studies from Rollins College.

Born and raised in Saint Augustine, FL, Riley now resides in Washington, D.C.
