Simona Nagyova joined Knight Foundation in June 2022 and serves as the executive assistant/project manager for the administration team.

With over 15 years of experience in business operations, project management, customer service leadership, and executive support, Nagyova is passionate about breaking down complex processes and driving organizational improvements. Her commitment to operational excellence and strategic execution led her to earn the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2024.

Before joining Knight, Nagyova served as executive assistant to the chair of the Biochemistry & Molecular Biology Department at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Prior to that, she held administrative and management roles in private investment and e-commerce firms, where she helped streamline workflows and support leadership initiatives.

Originally from Slovakia, Nagyova worked across several European countries before relocating to Miami in 2012. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Staffordshire University in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
