Urielle Laurent – Knight Foundation

Urielle Laurent will join the Knight Foundation’s 2023 internship program on June 20th. She will be working with the DE&I team, reporting to Roshell Rinkins.

Urielle is an undergraduate student at the Florida State University majoring in Finance (class of 2025). At FSU, Urielle is an active member of various committees and student organizations. She serves as the Chair of the FSU Student Foundation – the youngest Chair in Student Foundation history as well as the first black woman to hold the position. Urielle is the Campus Connections chair for FSU’s Relay for Life, and previously served as Treasurer of the of the University’s NAACP chapter, building and facilitating its annual budget of over $10,000 while preserving tax-exempt status.

Urielle has deep passion for DEI drives her to constantly seek and advocate for its expansion, celebration, and protection in every capacity she serves. She is extremely excited to aid this summer in integrating DEI principles into every facet of the foundation’s work.
