Valeria Rios is a ceramic artist living in Miami, Florida. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Art at Florida International University and two minors in digital marketing and art history. She is also an alumnus of the Ratcliffe Art + Design Incubator at FIU. Rios previously attended the Honors College at Miami Dade College; where she took the first step in pursuing the arts.

Rios describes her source of inspiration comes from her upbringing of two different worlds. Born in Venezuela and raised in South Florida, the mix of cultures, traditions and diversity allowed for an open view of the world.

Valeria has eight years of experience in the administrative field. Previous roles include project assistant and recruiter at AtkinsRealis, a design engineering firm and consultant.
