FUTURE OF TECH TOWN HALL: ADVANCING INNOVATIONS IN TECH EDUCATION AND TALENT DEVELOPMENT

Knight Foundation is pleased to invite you to a town hall on the evening of Wednesday, July 7 focused on advancing innovations in tech education and talent development through policy and public-private partnerships. Speakers include:

  • Governor Deval Patrick, co-commissioner, Future of Tech Commission; former Governor of Massachusetts
  • Jaffus Hardrick, President, Florida Memorial University
  • Marcell Haywood, CEO, Encompass
  • Melissa Krinzman, Managing Partner, Krillion Ventures
  • Madeline Pumariega, President, Miami Dade College
  • Mark Rosenberg, President, Florida International University
  • Jacky Wright, Chief Digital Officer, Microsoft

The town hall is presented in partnership with the Future of Tech Commission, ExcelinEd, and the Florida Chamber of Commerce. The Commission is a private, independent and bipartisan working group developed in response to discussions with the White House and the Federal Communications Commission to recommend a comprehensive tech policy agenda for the nation.

Virtual access to the town hall is open to all, but a limited number of places for the in-person event in Miami are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
