Financial Analysis Internship Learning from DAF spending (Miami)

Job Overview:

The Knight Foundation is seeking a Junior/Senior Undergraduate or Graduate student with a passion for making financial information relevant to everyday users to join our team in Miami. The goal of this project is to increase awareness of the strategic value of the Foundation’s Donor Advised Fund (DAF) endowments among multiple stakeholders in Knight communities. The successful candidate will work towards raising the quality and quantity of proposed funding projects and improving the transparency of our program.

Additionally, this project will involve providing recommendations for the efficient and consistent collection and input of DAF grants and valuation statements.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a Junior/Senior Undergraduate or Graduate student in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or Information Systems
  • Experience with financial modeling, pivot tables, and SQL/querying of relational databases
  • Proficient in statistical programming languages such as R or Python
