Finance/Learning & Impact | Data Analyst Internship (Miami)

Job Overview:

The Knight Foundation is seeking a motivated and analytical Junior/Senior Undergraduate or Graduate student to join our team in Miami to help us improve the way we manage and leverage data to inform our decision making. The scope of this project is to gain a clear understanding of our data, where it resides, and identify the key business decisions we need to make using data, what we want to learn from it, and the questions we want to be able to answer quickly.

The successful candidate will also play a crucial role in increasing the awareness of the strategic value of the Foundation’s Donor Advised Fund (DAF) endowments at Community Foundations in Knight communities among multiple stakeholders. This will lead to improved quality and quantity of proposed funding projects and greater transparency in our program.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a Junior/Senior Undergraduate or Graduate student pursuing in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or Information Systems.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling, pivot tables, and SQL/querying of relational databases.
  • Proficient in statistical programming languages such as R or Python.
