MIAMI (Feb. 2, 2011) Térèse Coudreaut has joined the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation as director of human resources.
Coudreaut will direct all human resource activities to advance Knight Foundation’s high-performance culture. This includes recruiting and selection, talent management and development, compensation and benefits, succession planning and transitions.
Coudreaut previously worked for Knight Foundation as manager of workforce performance and development, where she created a metrics-based approach to determining success. Most recently, Coudreaut headed a global consulting practice at Alexander Proudfoot Co. that helped companies adapt to large-scale operational change. Previously, Coudreaut worked with a Marsh & McLennan subsidiary, where she developed a project management office that helped drive over 200 worldwide projects to on-time and on-budget delivery.
“To help meet our goals of promoting informed and engaged communities, Knight needs to provide a productive work environment where our employees can flourish,” said Belinda Turner Lawrence, Knight Foundation’s vice president and chief administrative officer. “Térèse’s contributions in designing many of the recruiting and selection tools we use today, not to mention our experiential learning approach, prove that she will be a tremendous asset.”
Coudreaut graduated from the State University of New York with a bachelor’s in marketing communications and earned a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Columbia University.
“I am very excited to take part in Knight’s future, and look forward to helping Knight staff meet their – and the foundation’s – goals,” Coudreaut said.
