MIAMI — Lorenzo Lebrija has joined the staff of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation as Miami program director.
Lebrija will work with local leaders and advisers to identify opportunities for investing in innovative ideas and programs.
He will work with Mike Maidenberg, Vice President/ Communities Program, in leading the foundation’s efforts to bring lasting, positive and transformational change to Miami-Dade and Broward.
Prior to joining Knight, Lebrija served as senior director of marketing at the New World Symphony, where he developed strategies that dramatically increased revenues and spearheaded the strategic plan for the future of the organization.
“Lorenzo Lebrija is energetic, creative and entrepreneurial. He has demonstrated success throughout his career, and we are pleased he will deploy his talents on behalf of Knight Foundation, and the diverse communities of Miami-Dade and Broward,” said Maidenberg.
Lebrija has a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s of business administration from Florida International University.
