There are lots of great ideas out there, but how can you make your application for the Knight Arts Challenge Philadelphia stand out?

Think outside of the box – innovation is welcomed and encouraged. Think big – how can an idea rooted in the arts engage communities and transform lives?  Do you see a hole that a creative project can fill in your community?  What’s something Philadelphia’s arts and cultural scene has never seen before?

We also look at whether the applicant has the know-how to get the project done. That said, you or your group might be in need of a breakout push and some extra support to bring it all to the next level.  Go ahead and apply; it might be just the right time for that push. Ultimately, the best “edge” is to have a really great arts idea.
