“Inanna and the Huluppu Tree” bring magic to the Miami Theater Center
The Miami Theater Center (MTC) is growing. Its ever-expanding reach and impact on the vitality of the performing arts for all ages in Miami-Dade spans theater, film, training and more. From their annual contemporary performance SandBox Series to being the new home for Mad Cat Theater Company, MTC has redefined itself as a vibrant center of culture in the sleepy Village of Miami Shores.

In the end, as all powerful goddesses do, Inanna restores harmony to the a city ravaged by chaos and calamity.
Written and by MTC Artistic Director Stephanie Ansin and Resident Artist Fernando Calzadilla, and directed by Ansin, the true magic of “Inanna and the Huluppu Tree” emerges from a broad collaboration that includes original music and sound design by Luciano Stazzone, choreogrpahy by Octavio Campos, specialty props, masks and puppets by Jim Hammond, aerial choreography by Ileigh Reynolds and flying effects by ZFX Flying Effects.
