Knight Foundation goes live with new portal for grantees
Knight Foundation recently implemented a new software system to manage our grants and grant applications. We wanted something that would not only help the foundation internally, but would strengthen our relationships, communications and transparency with grantees.
The new system we have switched to is called Fluxx. Knight Foundation is one of the first to implement this new software, which brings an exciting and collaborative approach to grants management. Fluxx allows our grantees to work in the same system we do through a grant portal. We believe that giving you access to your grant requests and documents will be helpful, and will allow us to work hand in hand with our grantees through the process.
By simply logging in with a username and password you will be able to access your documents, submit a proposal, fill out a Letter of Inquiry and much more.
In the coming weeks we’ll be inviting all prospective and current grantees to log-in to our grant portal at http://knight.fluxx.io. We’ll also make a number of resources available to you and your team to help navigate the site, including a how-to guide and video, live webcasts with Knight Foundation staff and access to our grants administration team and program staff.
This new software, as well as other changes we’ve been making is aimed at making our communications with applicants and grantees more clear, responsive, helpful and respectful. Most importantly, if we could do better – please let us know.
Moving to the Fluxx grants management software is another way for us to honor our commitment to support your work.
