Supported by the Knight Foundation, The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra (SPCO) and Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies (GTCYS) formed a strategic alliance last year, allowing the two organizations to share expertise, resources and infrastructure, making both organizations financially stronger, and providing opportunities for greater programmatic collaboration.

As part of the alliance, the GTCYS administrative offices moved to the SPCO Center in downtown St. Paul, in order to allow the organizations to share resources such as information technology and to bring the organizations into closer proximity to enable strong communication, collaboration, and synergy. The office move happened in June 2011, and the strategic alliance is now fully operational in the shared space. The photo posted here shows the updated signage at SPCO Center reflecting the new arrangement.
