Arts television kicks up a notch this October as PBS launches its nine-part PBS Arts Fall Festival.  Sponsored by Knight Foundation, the Fall Festival explores the art scenes in the Blue Ridge Mountain, Chicago, Cleveland, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, San Francisco and Seattle. We’re particularly excited about “Miami City Ballet Dances Balanchine & Tharp,” debuting Friday, Oct 28 at 9pm and re-airing Sunday, Oct 30 at 4pm. The piece will take viewers inside the Miami City Ballet to witness performances of Balanchine’s “Square Dance” and “Western Symphony” and Tharp’s “The Golden Section.” Another highlight to look out for – video spotlights on Knight Arts Challenge winners.
