Seven South Florida students will be making their Carnegie Hall debut this May courtesy of The Scholastic Writing Awards.

Funded by a 2010 Knight Arts Challenge grant, the Miami-Dade Region of the Scholastic Writing Awards provides the forum and support for identifying, motivating, and validating South Florida’s next generation of writers. As a consequence of this year’s grant activities, these seven South Florida teens will be honored as national medalists for their outstanding writing achievement at the Scholastic Writing Awards Ceremony on May 31^st at Carnegie Hall:
