By Kelsye Gold, Concrete and Grass Lowertown Music Festival Sister’s Christmas Catechism: The Mystery of the Magi’s Gold comes to the Ordway’s McKnight Theatre stage December 13th through January 1st!

It’s “CSI:Bethlehem” as Sister takes on the mystery that has baffled historians for ages–whatever happened to the Magi’s gold? “We know that Mary used the frankincense and myrrh as a sort of potpourri,” Sister explains. “They were in a barn after all.” Relying on her own arsenal of scientific tools and assisted by a local choir and a gaggle of audience members, Sister creates a living nativity with gifts galore and bundles of laughs.

The role of “Sister” is performed by actress Kim Richards who has performed many times before at the Ordway with the Late Nite Catechism series. She is pleased that her life has come full circle from 12 years of Catholic school to dancing the showrooms of Las Vegas to playing a nun.
