The Kennedy Center’s Michael Kaiser steps into the classroom
Kennedy Center president Michael Kaiser stepped into the classroom this summer, teaching arts management to 36 international art managers as part of the the Center’s annual month-long summer training program. In addition to his role as Kennedy Center president, Kaiser serves as president of the Center’s DeVos Institute of Arts Management, a $6-million-a-year nonprofit consulting practice that advises domestic arts groups and conducts seminars abroad.
Among other projects, the DeVos Institute administers Capacity Building: Miami and Capacity Building: Detroit, two arts training programs supported by Knight Arts.
