Walker West’s planned move to 760 Selby Avenue will be complete by this summer. The Academy has sold it’s 777 Selby Avenue property and plans to begin construction on the new space this spring.

Welsh Construction has been awarded the construction contract and Academy administration has been working with them and the rest of the planning team since January to plan the project.

Supporters of the project include the City of Saint Paul Cultural STAR program, McKnight Foundation, 3M Foundation, Saint Paul Foundation, Bigelow Foundation, and the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council. Partners who are helping the planning and execution of the project include Milestone Real Estate Partners, Cuningham Group, Welsh Construction, Sunrise Banks and fundraiser Andrew Currie.
