Join artist Juan Carlos Zaldivar, Bas Fisher International and Miss Information for the October installment of the Weird Miami Bus Tour on Sunday, October 12th from 5 – 8:30 p.m. (Arrive no later than 4:15 p.m. for a prompt departure.)

The “top-secret” tour curated by Zaldivar and guided by Miss Information promises to reveal the queerly beautiful and slightly bizarre cultural and artistic gems that make Miami, Miami. Hidden between this and that, participants will be whisked around Miami in a bus to undisclosed locations, including the ____________ and the ____________. Participants may (or may not) encounter __________ that blur the lines between “__________” and “urbanism”.

Finally, the tour will pass by the infamous _______ and leave you gasping (begging) for more oxygen inside of a small, yet gorgeously lit elevator at the _____________. I’m joking about the oxygen. You’ll be fine. Zaldivar says to expect magic and illusions.

The idea for the tour emerged from Zaldivar’s “Web Bodies,” his ongoing exhibition at BFI that explores the themes of perception and transformation, which is part of a larger body of transmedia work that Zaldivar is working on.
