The countdown to SXSW is finally over – Knight Foundation is heading to Austin, Texas! On Saturday, March 9, Knight Foundation, MIT Media Lab, Mozilla, and SoundCloud will hold a demo fair and gathering.

Stop by for drinks and snacks with Knight Foundation and The Texas Tribune and find out more about the News Challenge on Open Gov.

Michael Maness and Knight staff will be on hand to answer questions about the challenge. Tribune Editor-In-Chief and CEO Evan Smith will host a discussion with Reps. Donna Howard (D-Austin) and Giovanni Capriglione (R-Southlake) about their open government initiative.
