National Jewish Theater Foundation journeys to Washington

The National Jewish Theater Foundation (NJTF) and its Holocaust Theater Archive (HTA) is pleased to announce that President and Founder Arnold Mittelman has been invited to speak at the Winter Seminar of the Association of Holocaust Organizations (AHO) in Washington, D.C. The conference will be hosted by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM), and will take place January 8th through 10th of 2012. Mr. Mittelman will be joined by numerous prominent scholars, academicians and institutional leaders from the field of Holocaust history and remembrance.

Other participants include: Douglas Davidson, the Special Envoy for Holocaust Issues from the U.S. State Department; and Dr. William L. Shulman, President of AHO and a member of the HTA Advisory Board. The topic of Mr. Mittelman’s discourse is entitled “Holocaust Related Theater: Representation or Misrepresentation?” and will be the first presentation of this nature to be presented at USHMM, with such an esteemed gathering of experts from the field of Holocaust history in attendance.
